Here’s a few marketing tips and tricks for professional organizers!
Use Canva to create cheap business cards, postcards or mini flyers ((try Canva Pro, using the link in my bio!). Order a small pack of thumbtacks, make those cork bulletin boards around town your best friend, and start putting up your marketing materials on community boards like at your local YMCA, co-ops, grocery stores, kid’s camp pickup areas, community pools, coffee shops… wherever there is a board or a place to leave cards!
Door to door marketing is actually legal, just not mailbox marketing- find the neighborhoods where your “ideal clients’ live, and hit the pavement!
And duhhhhh…. another "old-school" marketing technique that almost ANY business can utilize and benefit from is word-of-mouth referrals! According to a study conducted by Nielsen, 92% of consumers trust recommendations from others, even people they do not know, over branded content.
Create a cohesive brand identity- get a great photo of yourself, build that know like trust factor, people want to buy from people not a logo, and use the same photo for brand recognition everywhere!
Figure out your brand fonts and colors- don’t worry this will change and evolve over time! Canva referral code.
